Those who know our three great kids who are all grown up now, ask us how we managed to do all this? In hindsight, it wasn’t easy. Since neither of us had any siblings growing up, we had a little more to learn about parenting. We had help from our parents, read a lot of books but there is no substitute for good old-fashioned experience. So, if you are expectant parents get ready for the ride of your life. This journey will be amazing and worthwhile.
Recently, I went shopping to babis-r-us with one of our friends who are expecting twins. Our kids might be older, but everything is so vivid in our memories as if it was yesterday. Besides the usual like diapers, we are greatly experienced with the important, fun and slightly pricier things that keep you and your babies happy. These three were:
They had just started out looking at cribs and were shocked at the prices of convertible ones versus the regular ones. Once you realize how long these convertible cribs last, you will be able to relate to the price discrepancies. Kids usually outgrow their crib by the time they’re two. What happens is that you go shopping for single beds now to fit your growing toddlers needs. Then comes a few years of growth spurts where your kids outgrow the smaller beds too.
